Kronobi

Privacy Policy

Kronobi places great importance on the protection of your personal data. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: April 30, 2026

Data collected

We only collect data necessary for the operation of the application: email address upon account creation, emergency contacts that you fill in yourself, geolocation data only when an SOS alert is triggered. Your wallet private keys never leave your device — they are neither stored nor accessible by Kronobi.

Processing purposes

Your data is processed to: enable the operation of the app, trigger alerts to your emergency contacts, ensure service security, send you information related to your account.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the contract (provision of the service) and your explicit consent (geolocation, alerts).

Retention period

Account data: kept for the duration of your subscription and up to 3 years after termination. Alert data: kept 30 days after triggering for evidentiary purposes. You may request its deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing and objection. To exercise these rights, contact contact@kronobi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Security

All communications between the app and our servers are end-to-end encrypted via Signal Protocol. Our systems undergo annual independent security audits by CertiK and Trail of Bits.

Cookies

The site uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation and for memorizing your preferences (language). No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are deposited without your consent.
